MicroTools App is an offline utility app offering tools such as image and file format conversion, compression, resizing, and PDF-to-image conversion. This application is designed to function entirely on your device, with no cloud upload, remote access, or external API calls involved for core features. Your data privacy is a priority, and all operations are secure and local.
To ensure that MicroTools App works as intended, the app may request access to certain features of your device. These permissions are used solely to enable core functionality and not for collecting or transmitting any personal information.
We request storage access so you can select image or PDF files and save the output after conversion or compression. On Android 13 and above, scoped storage access is used to comply with system-level privacy restrictions while still enabling access to relevant files (e.g., images, videos).
The app may request internet access to check for app updates or optional future features. Network state is checked to prevent online calls if the device is offline. Notifications may be used to inform you of completed tasks. Wake locks may be requested to keep your device awake during heavy file processing. We do not use these permissions beyond their intended purpose.
We do not collect, track, store, or transmit any data—personal or otherwise. All activities, such as conversions and compressions, occur directly on your device. No analytics, advertising IDs, or tracking SDKs are used in the current version.
All file operations are performed locally and securely. Your selected files are only accessed during the active session and are not stored, cached, or transferred externally. The app never accesses system files or unrelated content.
All read and write operations are governed by the Android OS's permission and sandboxing model. Files are handled in compliance with scoped storage and file permission standards. The app avoids requesting high-risk permissions like MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, which are discouraged by Play Store policy.
All features work offline. You do not need an internet connection to resize, convert, or compress your files. Any internet-related permission is optional or reserved for future improvements like version checking.
Converted files are saved to user-accessible directories like "Download/MicroTools App" or app-created folders under `/storage/emulated/0/`. We do not create hidden folders or write files without your intent. You may manage or delete these files at any time.
Results may vary depending on device specifications such as processor speed, available RAM, and Android version. The app is optimized to run across a wide range of Android devices but some operations may be slower on older hardware.
We are not responsible for any data loss or damage resulting from improper file handling, manual deletion, or unsupported file formats. Users are advised to back up original files before batch processing.
By using this app, users agree to handle sensitive files with caution. Since all file access and usage is under the user’s control, we disclaim any liability arising from improper use or handling of third-party or confidential content.
This version of MicroTools App does not use analytics (such as Google or Firebase Analytics) and does not integrate ad SDKs. If we introduce ads or usage tracking in a future update, this privacy policy will be updated to reflect those changes, and all services will be clearly disclosed.
MicroTools App is not targeted toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors, nor is the app designed to attract underage users. If a child has interacted with the app and you believe any issue has occurred, contact us immediately.
